Yes, you maybe have more money in softwear than I have in hardware...

Anyway, nice rig. What are those towers?

Thank you.

My fiancee and I are HUGE movie buffs.... I've been collecting for about 3 years. There are just under 700. I am missing about 30 to family/neglect.... (i hope I'm not the only one who that's happened to.)

Not bad for a 23 yr old tho my dad says.

Welllllll..... she worked at blockbuster a long time ago and it drives her crazy if a movie is out of place.... so yeah... they're alphabetized.

haha, wow. alphabetizing 700 movies must have been quite the chore. wouldnt want to be there when a movie is put in the wrong spot.

I love your display.
And all those movies. I guess your guests have no problem finding something to watch while visiting.

My only suggesting for future upgrades would be to take advantage of the corners of the room and move the tower speakers outboard, closer to the corners and away from the walls to gain the full potential of your speakers and improve the sound stage.

A center channel would be a great addition too.

Seasons Greetings!!!

Sad thing is that we usually have a hard time picking a movie out.

I know exactly what you mean, I have over 300 dvd's, my wife and myself have a hard time deciding on a movie to watch on movie nights. Sometimes we take so long that there's barely anytime left to watch one. It is sad...maybe we're sick or something.

P.S.: where did you get your shelves??

I got 'em at best buy. They have a spinning one now that holds more. We might switch. I have seen a few spinning ones that will hold up to 700/unit. :-) that would be nice...
