Tuesday, September 21, 2004 - 17:24 GMT This is my newest toy! A Parasound HCA-855A. I just love this amp. It just keeps pumping it out at unreal volumes.

Tuesday, September 21, 2004 - 17:33 GMT My center speaker. A Klipsch RCX-4. This was the biggest I could squeeze between my components.

Wednesday, September 22, 2004 - 21:47 GMT Hi John, Thanks for your comments. I love my Outlaw 950! There isn't anything that I have found that I would call a drawback. It smokes my Pioneer receiver that I moved to my daughter's room. Yes, the surrounds are Klipsch they are quintets which are on my upgrade list.

Friday, September 24, 2004 - 04:38 GMT Considering the very high effenciency of the Klipsch's that Parasound amp is coasting even at high volume levels.

Friday, September 24, 2004 - 18:30 GMT You are so right John. I haven't been able to bring the 950 past 0 and even then the amp never gets anywhere near what could be considered very warm let alone hot. I was listening to Metallica's Black release on DVD-A last weekend and at -10dB's on the preamp I was getting spl's of 115 dB's with my radio shack meter. It sure put a smile on my face!

Saturday, September 25, 2004 - 03:21 GMT Be careful: a smile on your face is good, but +115dB could be a bad thing for your ears for any length of time....

Wednesday, October 06, 2004 - 18:12 GMT It's cool John. I never listen at that volume for more than a few minutes. but, it does bring my back to my younger days of many concerts.

Friday, March 18, 2005 - 19:58 GMT John very nice..I am looking forward to get my system going. How does that center channel (Klipsch RCX-4) work with your Outlaw 950. Do you wish at time that you had a larger CC? Jav Great set up

Wednesday, April 13, 2005 - 19:45 GMT Jav, Thanks for the comments. I think the RCX-4 works very well with the 950. The 950 has multiple crossovers that work well with most speakers. I would have to say no with regards to a larger CC. This speaker does a great job of pumping it out.

Thursday, April 14, 2005 - 04:28 GMT I think getting a rack space would complete your set wounderful setup there.
