Friday, February 25, 2011 - 01:29 GMT Are you talking about highlighting text on the page, then clicking a "quote" button to automatically paste that into a message box? Feel free to provide a link to another forum that has the feature you would like?

Friday, February 25, 2011 - 12:44 GMT Admin The best thing I can see is a button reply to this post on each post which quote automatically the name and the text of the poster. The button can be called "quick reply to this message" then look like this picture "Originally Posted by" : "TJK Reflect/Questions" is the name of the poster to be sure that the word "Question" was not confused! Thanks!

Sunday, February 27, 2011 - 03:47 GMT It's not THAT hard to use the code as is, is it? 1) Select text and copy. 2) Hit \ and type "quote" 3) Use { 4) Paste text 5) Use } End of story.

Sunday, February 27, 2011 - 05:56 GMT I have used the quote button when replying to a post in other forums. Pros: It is very handy when replying to somebody within a thread. However, when I do that, I find myself going within the quoted part deleting something to emphasize the rest. That action of making changes within quotes, partly defeats the purpose of allowing the quoting. Cons: Long text gets enclosed and I have seen quotes within quotes within quotes and that looks messy. Then if you also allow a picture to be quoted in a reply, it will become very messy. So if you do allow it, allow only for text quotes.

Thursday, March 03, 2011 - 04:27 GMT Sean When you press the button, erase the "http://" in the case and copy your link! Admin This is a problem, why you added this "http://", everytime I post a link I must delete it to make that work!
