While this is an appropriate place to ask such questions, the 'code posts' tend to clutter the head unit forum. In fact, I've noticed the 'code posts' also tend to spill over into the Accessories and Amplifiers forum because users aren't exactly sure of where to post queries related to head unit codes. So my suggestion is perhaps split the head unit forum into 'Codes' and 'Everything Else' This will be very nice for people like me (a car audio enthusiast) to answer more general questions about head units instead of being bogged down by the 'code posts' that can only be answered by a small, esoteric group of people.
