Using MP3Gain on existing iTunes file

Two questions...

1. How do I move my existing MP3's which are in iTunes into MP3Gain? When I open the iTunes music file and then click "add file", they do not transfer over.
2. Are there any issues with using MP3Gain and Soundcheck?
