Resetting Sony DVP FX 1021 Portable DVD 10"

Tried using Monitor feature of FX 1021 WOuldn't work Ended up with White Screen. Tried to play DVD Get audio but no picture. Screen is still white. and I reset to Line In. Anyone know how to reset the DVD player
