New member Username: Zak197Post Number: 1 Registered: Feb-05 | The unit is only 2 months old. Working fine until 2 days ago when replacing AAA battery. Now the unit won't turn on! BUT! I can plug the USB cable and see the contents of the unit through XP just fine. The LCD display does work at this point. I can add delete songs no problem. When you unplug the unit, the "USB CONNECTED" message remains on the LCD but just barely visible. The unit still won't turn on. I have to remove the battery in order to clear the LCD screen. I'm using XP, I've formatted (FAT32) the unit 3 times and I'm not using the software it came with. I've reloaded the firmware. Still no go. Any ideas?
