Silver Member Username: Ieee488Post Number: 554 Registered: Dec-07 | Highly doubt that the Panasonic would have a SD card. The Panasonic camcorder should have a Firewire port. You'll need to have a Firewire port on your PC. Most PCs don't have such a port. Otherwise, you'd need to buy a video capture card for your PC and connect up using the included miniplug to composite video+audio cable. |

SD cards are for the newer generation of camcorders. I have a fairly "new" Panasonic miniDV camcorder. At the time I was buying it, the other choice were the ones that wrote directly to miniDVD discs and the microMV tapes. |
