I've never tried to connect much anything to my computer, so I can't say I know too much about anything about getting pictures from my camcorder to my computer.
I've installed the software that came with it, but it doesn't let me import pictures from the camera when I plug in the USB cable. I tried following every direction that came with the manual, to no prevail. The manual's directions aren't even for Windows XP anyway. They say that if I've plugged in the USB cable, and turn the camera on to Play mode, on memory, that the computer would automatically detect it in the E: Drive. That didn't happen, and the E: Drive is empty. Being the inexperienced that I am, I don't know what to do or where to look to find these pictures.
