MY PC DOESN'T SHOW CONTENT OF DVD OF MY SONY CAMCORDER

i recorded video by my sony camcorder, but when i put the dvd in my pc, my pc was not showing any files in the cd, and it was like that the dvd is empty. what could be the reason of this? and what should i do to view the recorded video in the dvd?
