Sony CCD-FX630 Audio Out?

I have an old Sony CCD-FX630 ("Video 8 Handycam"), and am a bit perplexed by the audio out. Video out is standard composite, but the audio out is a single (black) output? Not sure what this is, what it should go into, etc. etc.

Any help?
