I saw the recent post about not having a firewire to the computer, but only usb2...
I noticed some WD Mybook Ext Hard drives have the firewire.
Would it work to firewire it to the mybook from the mini dv player, then burn the dvd from the Mybook external through my computer...
I'll investigate, but if anyone has a quick answer....
Thanks

After doing some calling and reading up, it's prolly better to get a firewire card installed on me 'puter... The firewire connects on the WD external Mybook are for Daisy chaining.
