New member Username: Ferndog1Post Number: 2 Registered: Nov-06 | Hello, First off I am a NOVICE photographer who uses a camera to shoot hi-res photos of machine parts for service manuals, usually black parts on a white background, with lettering on them. I formally used a Coolpix 5700 with good results, but recently ?upgraded? to a D70 model. The pictures are not as sharp as I was getting with the 5700 model. The photos are taken using umbrellas and strobe lights, so the lighting is good The D70 manual is very difficult to understand, any help/suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks for taking the time to read my post. |

More than enough for your needs. How is your focus set up? Single or coninuous? What mode are you using? P, S, A, M? What lens are you using?
