I'm thinking about getting a JVC GY-DV300 3CCD. Has anyone experience of using this pro camcorder.
How does it compare to the sony vx2100? I have heard conflicting opinions, but have suspicions the salesman hadn't a clue what i was talking about.
Thanks, Chris

I have not owned either one, but I have read a great deal of reviews about them. I have also played with them in stores, and the Sony is much better. Sony is well known for their ability to shoot quality video in low light conditions, and for good reason: they shoot better in low light. Although I thought the JVC had a very good picture in the store, the Sony was still better. Also, if you're going to do any shooting indoors, in settings with just one lamp on, or even by candle-light, the Sony will shine. Hope this helps
