New member Username: CrosseyedPost Number: 1 Registered: Nov-05 | Hi Everyone. I have the Nikon N65 with a couple of lenses (28-80 & 70-300) and would like to switch to digital. It's purely a hobby of mine, although I would like to take some classes at some point in order to take better quality pictures. Is there a reason I should spend more on the D70, or is the D50 sufficient? What are the pros/cons of each camera? Thanks! |

If you are upgrading from the N65, the D50 will have all the features that you'll need. You can upgrade later when your skills have improved considerably and the D50 becomes cumbersome for what you need it to do. You can take good quality pictures with ANY camera. Here is a comparison for you to read. http://www.bythom.com/D50REVIEW.htm |
