Would something like this item be all that I need? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814144503 Thanks for all of your help. |

Since my previous post I have looked around a little more and have some more questions. I am now looking at 2 different camcorders. Here are the ones I am looking at. Digital 8MM http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=6956537&type=product&productCatego ryId=cat04015&id=1099382961094 HI 8MM http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/product.do?BV_UseBVCookie=Yes&vertical=ELEC&pid=0 0356007000&subcat=Camcorders I am guessing that the Digital 8MM will let me connect directly to my PC with the included USB 2.0 cable. I can then just burn the video to a DVD right? Would I need any special software to do this other then my DVD burning software that I already have? If I can in fact connect the Digital 8MM to my PC I would think that this would be the best choice and cheaper in the long run. Do the Digital 8MM use regular 8MM tapes? Thanks again for the help. Also how much quicker would using the firewire be? I am guessing a lot. My PC does have firewire but I have yet to use it for anything. |
