I know absolutely nothing about camcorders. I purchased the Canon ZR80 last week and notice that indoor pictures are very grainy. I'm thinking about returning it and getting the Sony DCRTRV19. Can anyone offer me any advice? Should I stick it out with the ZR80 and tweak the settings or exchange it for the Sony? Also, once I decide on the best camcorder, I'd like to begin researching transferring the video to my pc to burn it into a DVD. (Again, I'm a complete novice.) Is the Canon or Sony any better at doing that? Thanks very much for any help.

I have also had bad luck with Canon as far as indoor lighting. The outdoor picture is awesome, but I have found that Sony has much better video indoors. I do not know about the TRV19, but I know that anywhere I have looked, Sony always gets a better review in indoor quality. I have a TRV70 and it's great. Hope this helps
