melody621 Unregistered guest | I bought the RCA Pro 8 camcorder about 1989, so I know it's old. However, for some reason I am unable to get it to record or even playback 8mm tapes I made years ago. Is it worth getting fixed? Where could I send it to get repaired? Or should I just forget it? |
Unregistered guest | I have an RCA Pro 8 without the accessories-it still works well. Are you interested in purchasing as it may be less than getting yours fixed ifinstad@gmail.com |
Unregistered guest | We have a old RCA pro 8 but we don't have a battery for it. Will someone tell us what battery it takes? Thank you Trent Regan |
Unregistered guest | I'm trying to find out myself... I've got a working battery, AC adapter and plenty of tapes. But for some reason, I can't get it to records or playback either. However, I have been able to playback old tapes that I recorded years ago. Let me know what you find out. |
Unregistered guest | You can go to Staples online and use the battery wizard to find a match. |
bigoster Unregistered guest | The RCA pro 8 takes a AV8M3W NiCad (6V) or a compatible NiMH (6V) camcorder battery. They run $20-$30. |
