Unregistered guest | I have a wedding tape in VHS format... I need it on my computer to edit... i tried to record to a mini dv (because i know how where to go from there) - but the camcorder will only record to the memory(which doesn't have enough space) and not the dv. Help? |

xrrider1031 Unregistered guest | I've done research on this already. Se far ive only found that jcv makes them. But they make a dual deck vcr. Which has a vhs deck and a miniDV deck. The newer ones have "one touch dubbing" Which automatically tranfers the video from vhs to miniDV or visa versa. i dont currently have the model # but you can just go to google and search miniDV vcr. itll come up. ANd of course since miniDV is digital and vhs is analog it has an analog to digital converter. So you really dont even need to use a miniDV tape you put it right on your computer. I believe it uses a firewire cable. So youll need a iEEE1394 port on your computer. Your looking at about $400 to $600 for it though. Please e-mail me at xrrider1031@aol.com if i was any help. Mike |
