I'm thinking the second one would be a better deal since it comes with two lenses? duh. i could care less about the free printer. i guess my question is which lens is better? The Nikon 18-70mm F/3.5-4.5G ED-IF AF-S Lens or the Sigma 28-80mm Autofocus Lens. Again, i'm real new at this so sorry for my lack of knowledge i need as much help as i can get. thanks!

The 18-70 kit lens is a much better lens. It focuses faster than the Sigma and has better glass than the 28-80.
Check out ritz or wolf cameras, they are having a sale on the d70 kits. And yes, the printer deal is just bait. I'm wondering where you are getting this deal?

I expect Berny I correct, Nikkor glass is a big reason why I was looking so hard at the Nikon DSLRs. Check out photozone.de for their ratings database and do some searches at fredmiranda.com--they have a constant barrage of "what lens to buy" messages and a knowledgeable user base that isn't shy about their opinions of lenses. Sigma has a spotty quality reputation.
