I am still using a PANASONIC analog camcorder. The camcorder uses VHS C cassette and it records and plays without any problems. At my home I playback the VHS C tape with an adaptor on a regular Philips VCR. I have noticed that tapes recorder during the last weeks on the PANASNIC camcorder do not play perfectly, as before, on the PHILIPS VCR. Tapes that have been recorded on PANASONIC a year ago do play ok on my PHILIPS VCR. So, I have a camcorder that records ok and plays ok the recorded tapes, but when I play the same tape on PHILIPS VCR - the bottom of the picture is distorted. I have also tested the PHILIPS VCR and tried to record on it and playback the VHS C tape with an adaptor. Recording and the playback looks fine on PHILIPS VCR.
Question: What could be the problem of playing back a tape on PHILIPS VCR that has been recorded on PANASONIC camcorder? Just to remind, that the problem appeared during the last period.
