I read today that there the iPhone Nano might become a reality, which is basically a cheaper and smaller version of the iPhone 4, in order to compete with the lower priced and hugely popular Android devices. It is said it will feature dual SIM, but with less advanced and expensive hardware. The device will sell for around US$200. Really, Apple?
He does bring up good points. The cell phone generation has become so addicted to hand held devices they can't live without them. I can't remember when I saw the last functioning pay phone anywhere. That may be an exaggeration but won't be soon.
