This time of year sucks. The darkness. The cold. The dry air. FML. I was born and raised in the Chicago area but the last couple years I've really grown tired of the brutal winters. I want to move.
It was about 72 here in Por-Town today. Set the high for this date. But to get more on the topic, it absolutely sucks getting up in the dark but I am lucky enough that I work at 4 am so it is only 1 when I get off work.
i work 7pm-7am, 6 days a week. the sun lights my path back to bed, that's it. 100* while i'm sleeping and 70* during work which falls into play nicely.
Winter just sucks in general. My job involves working on computers and sitting at a desk, so I like to do outside stuff in my time off... but not when it's freezing out there. My goal right now is to find a better job somewhere south of here.
I love my job. I just hate the stress of the political side of what I do. I'm on a PC from 7am to 6pm for work. Then when I get home I jump on another PC for everything else I do. Catch up on news, check emails, surf Youtube, check my fantasy team, do my Ebay/Craigslist thing, surf Ecoustics, ect. Before you know it I'm staring at 11pm (or later) and it's time for bed.
damm, paul. are you spying on me? Honestly, I am trying to stay off the web as much as possible, but some nites..nothing better to do. Or too lazy to do something else..And now with it being dark it makes it harder to keep occupied inside..
all those xmas songs will be played on the radio to death again - been hearing the same songs since i was born , same with some tv shows too .....bah humbug
I'm kind of glad that winter is setting in. Hopefully work slows down, I've been working about 64 hours a week on average and worked 74 just this week(this is after deductions for lunch). It sucks, I'm tired of it and want to have some of my life back =/
