Youtube is a quagmire of BS. # of views dictates ad $, which drives everyone posting a vid to try to stimulate views. Don't you hate clicking on a vid because of the pic, then finding out it has NOTHING to do with the vid? All the top revenue makers do it. It's a cheap way to make a buck, but it works in today's world, because we are internet dependent as a society.
paul i know what you mean. i see these videos on youtube with a picture of a pretty girl with a nice set of funbags so i click on it and its some idiot ranting about random stuff. lol.
And the thing is that Youtube won't change its' policies because it will hurt their bottom line. All they want is exposure, which equals ad $$.
So all the posters who utilize all the hit tricks get left alone, as long as it doesn't cost Youtube any grief.
It's all about $$$.
Many clips on Youtube are BS and are intended to generate views which only increase ad $$ due to hit rate so why would they change it? It's only another form of the billboard on the side of the road blocking your view of the natural landscape behind it.
