Space is getting cheaper every day and I can remember paying $100 not 4 months ago for only a 500gig (maxtor) external. To get 1 TB for that is good/great.....today. Depends on how much you need that much space NOW. It's only going to get cheaper and cheaper. |

They are known for extremely high failure rates. Seagate is the opposite, lowest failure rate in the business. I have yet to replace one. |
