I have said before that his team is a sleeping giant and it was only a matter of time until they broke out of their slump. He has a very solid lineup with the players I replaced due to injuries but now he has even more guys on the DL. When Garko, Rollins and Johjima come out of their slumps he is going to very tough to beat. Problem is, is that every move I make for him goes towards MY moves, so it looks like I have a huge number when a dozen or so of those were for his team.... but oh well. I am having alot of fun with this season. |

We have a solid group of E regulars on board for this season and as far as I am concerned it is first-come-first-served. It filled up fast. If a few people missed out I am sorry, but that is just how it goes. We have to keep the limit set at 12 to allow everyone to have a solid team and still have useful players on waivers. If one of the people that were invited don't come through for whatever reason, then James is in if he has the time. Chase is in Canada and won't be actually signing up for a week or so, but I talked to him on the phone today and he is pumped about being in the league. |

I checked out the "projected stats" with 1 per reception and it doesn't add up really. Brady is "projected" to throw 40 TDs and still trails LT by 60 points for highest scoring player. Either way is fine. I'm not complaining by any means; just throwing it out there. |

I can't even imagine the cash that Reebok pays all those guys per year, but I am sure that it is greater than the income of some countries. And it got me to thinking... I can honestly say that I have never bought a pair of shoes or athletic equipment because so-and-so wore it or because I saw it on TV, but there must be a lot of people who do. I am heavily partial to Nike basketball shoes and New Balance running shoes only because they have always been comfortable, performed well and lasted a long time. If Nike and NB never made a commercial or magazine ad until the end of time, I wouldn't forget about them or stop buying their gear. If something works for me and I am happy with it, then I stick with it until that changes. I don't believe that kind of loyalty can be bought. |

If you really want to, you can log in just once a week, set your roster so you activate guys who are actually going to play that week. A couple of the struggling teams actually have really underrated rosters IMO. Would be doing much better if they kept up with it and made a couple moves. You're putting a bit of a damper on the fun for the people who ARE into it. It's no fun when you go up against a zombie team who clearly isn't being managed. Phil, you and I should probably be like neck and neck this week if you hadn't wasted a few starting slots. You had a couple guys have really good weeks, but i'm blowing you out cause you didn't pay attention. |

I wasn't dead on about the way the game would go down, but I really felt the Eagles would dominate today, and from what I saw they did (minus the missed field goals, and the Tuck blocked FG + 71yrd return at the end of the first half that made it 10-7 instead of 13-0). I agree it wasn't as close as 20-14 indicates. 88yards rushing, 123 yards passing for the G men. This is why I thought there was so much upside to picking them pre-season to make the superbowl this year. People give me sh!t about it, and the Eagles have struggled, but if they sneak into the playoffs, WATCH OUT! |

The best 4 teams made it IMO, with Reece's team instead of Red Teg being the only change I'd even consider. But it was a tossup. I posted my prediction in the league forum. Brad > Johnboi in the final. Westbrook and D. Williams are gonna continue to put up insane numbers these last few weeks. |
