I was actually reading an article of hers a few days ago and she said if she could be anyone else she would be hayley williams. thought that was kinda cool. Two fine ladies into one
As far as Miss Swift goes, she's only 16, so i'll just say she's a nice young lady and leave it at that. But everything you think i might be thinking is basically what i'm thinking.
Jake I think I may have did her when I came through St. Louis one year lol. She does look familiar. And those of you that say Taylor is a great singer... she really isn't at all. I have seen her three times live when we either opened for her or vice versa, and she was horrible all three nights. Then, the other day on the CMT Awards she sang and was heinous again. She can get by in the studio because they can punch in every line and/or word, but live she is pretty bad -- pitchy and with a piercing edge. Very nice girl, at least she was to me, and she will get better in time. But who cares really... she is unreal hot and I would watch her brush her teeth for a half hour.
This is the song that broke her into the big time.
Brad...if U play the country stuff and open for big bands, then ya must know my bud Jake Willemain, bass player for Clint Black for many years now..do you?
LK I am a session player and take whatever tours and recording sessions that sound cool and/or profitable. This means anything from country to death metal. I ended up with Lila McCann after playing with Maureen McCormick and Juice Newton.
I don't know Jake personally but I have seen him play with Clint many times and have talked to him once or twice. I once replaced some drums that Dick Gay (classic name) tracked for a Melissa Manchester (I think?) cd but I don't know him that well either. He and Jake have been together for a long time. Along with Dwight Yoakams band, Diamond Rio, George Strait, Brad Paisley and Rascal Flatts, Clints guys are some of the best in the biz. Country players are drastically underrated but they can at least hold their own with the best musicians of any genre.
