Platinum Member Username: LklivesPost Number: 15398 Registered: Jan-06 | How to use the rebate As you may have heard the Bush Administration said each and every one of us would now get a nice rebate. If we spend that money at Wal-Mart, all the money will go to China. If we spend it on gasoline it will all go to the Arabs, if we purchase a computer it will all go to India, if we purchase fruit and vegetables it will all go to Mexico, Honduras, and Guatamala, if we purchase a good car it will all go to Japan, if we purchase useless crap it will all go to Taiwan and none of it will help the American economy. We need to keep that money here in America, so the only way to keep that money here at home is to buy prostitutes and beer, since those are the only businesses still in the US. |

Although I have to admit, it is slightly unsettling that the same guy who couldn't afford to pay Paul, and was supposedly struggling to support his family, is gonna blow $275 on a tatoo. |

Gas for the boat, so I have another excuse to drink beer and party... Gas for the grill to cook up the shrimp, fish, steaks and burgers, after boating and drinking all the beer.. Retirement is tough...lol Basically my check is going to OPEC, to maintain my present "quality of life"...lmao |

It's a shame everything we enjoy is somehow related to oil. Got a scare just a minute ago with the severe thunderstorm that just blew threw. Now, I'm prepared for a power outage with my generator. What about a fuel shortage? That's why I topped off my small solar battery bank. I can use it to power just about anything electrical. In a pinch ya never know lol. |

Mine will go towards my Dad's old XT500 probably. Powernow maybe? http://scaryfastracing.net/pnsys-info.html Or do I plate the KTM? A 125 2 smoke would be awesome on the street. It'll cruise at 90 fairly easily. It'll be a fair bit of money to get the lighting and speedo on there. |

Seriously though even some of our largest companies are moving their labor elsewhere. Funny though since so many immigrants are coming here for work. In my industry the labor workforce is entirely saturated with immigrants. (Construction). It's how framing companies stay competitive. Almost nobody uses a 100% American framing crew anymore. They just can't compete with it. Same with landscape companies. There are so many low skilled jobs in this country that it's no wonder they flock here. THE PAY IS GREAT! 10X's what they're used to. Have a child here and get free benefits to boot. What happens when too many ppl jump on a life raft? It sinks. |
Platinum Member Username: LklivesPost Number: 15839 Registered: Jan-06 | Just got my "stimulus" check today in the mail, for $322...AGI ($12,000) with 2 dependents...LMAO, what a joke!.... Glad I cheat sooo much on my taxes and earnings..how in the world would a measley $322 help anybody with a low income of $12,000 after taxes with 2 dependents (family of 3)... or stimulate the economy!...this presidential admimistration is a complete JOKE!...AFTER they STOLE my money all year, and spent billions foolishly, they have the balls to give me back $322...I'm pissing my pants and laughing at this one...$322 is not even enuff to go watch 2 baseball games....LMAO... George W can stick it up his azz...he spends millions daily on a needless war that cannot be won by anybody except BIG Business, but has the audacity to send me $322 to stimulate the country's economy and help my family...somebody needs to drop some acid in his coffee! BTW...I'm buying beer and gas with the money..may get 1 month of gas and beer, if I stretch it...LMAO Also the dates are a little off too on the mailing above, released by the GOV...actually they are a lil early...my check was supposed to be mailed on June 20, but was dated 11 June and received today June 14...so they are about 10 days ahead of schedule.. |
Platinum Member Username: WingmanaliveA pic is worth 1000 posts!! Post Number: 17086 Registered: Jun-06 | Thought this should be included..... How many zeros in a billion? This is too true to be funny. The next time you hear a politician use the word 'billion' in a casual manner, think about whether you want the 'politicians' spending YOUR tax money. A billion is a difficult number to comprehend, but one advertising agency did a good job of putting that figure into some perspective in one of its releases. A. A billion seconds ago it was 1959. B. A billion minutes ago Jesus was alive. C. A billion hours ago our ancestors were living in the Stone Age. D. A billion days ago no-one walked on the earth on two feet. E. A billion dollars ago was only 8 hours and 20 minutes, at the rate our government is spending it. While this thought is still fresh in our brain, let's take a look at New Orleans It's amazing what you can learn with some simple division Louisiana Senator, Mary Landrieu (D), is presently asking the Congress for $250 BILLION to rebuild New Orleans . Interesting number, what does it mean? A. Well, if you are one of 484,674 residents of New Orleans (every man, woman, child), you each get $516,528. B. Or, if you have one of the 188,251 homes in New Orleans , your home gets$1,329,787. C. Or, if you are a family of four, your family gets $2,066,012. Washington, D. C <hello!> Are all your calculators broken?? Accounts Receivable Tax Building Permit Tax CDL License Tax Cigarette Tax Corporate Income Tax Dog License Tax Federal Income Tax <br>Federal Unemployment Tax (FUTA) Fishing License Tax Food License Tax Fuel Perm it Tax Gasoline Tax Hunting License Tax Inheritance Tax Inventory Tax IRS Inter est Charges (tax on top of tax), IRS Penalties (tax on top of tax), Liquor Tax, Luxury Tax, Marriage License Tax, Medicare Tax, Property Tax, Real Estate Tax, Service charge taxes, Social Security Tax, Road Usage Tax (Truckers), Sales Taxes, Recreational Vehicle Tax, School Tax, State Income Tax, State Unemployment Tax (SUTA), Telephone Federal Excise Tax, Telephone Federal Universal Service Fe e Tax, Telephone Federal, State and Local Su rcharge Tax, Telephone Minimum Usage Surcharge Tax, Telephone Recurring and Non-recurring Charges Tax, Telephone State and Local Tax, Telephone Usage Charge Tax, Utility Tax, Vehicle License Registration Tax, Vehicle Sales Tax, Watercraft Registration Tax, Well Permit Tax, Workers Compensation Tax. STILL THINK THIS IS FUNNY? Not one of these taxes existed 100 years ago, and our nation was the most prosperous in the world. We had absolutely no national debt, had the largest middle class in the world, and Mom stayed home to raise the kids. What happened? Can you spell 'politicians!' And I still have to 'press 1' for English. I hope this goes around the USA at least 100 times What the heck happened????? |
