Tuesday, February 19, 2008 - 23:22 GMT How's it too early? Their in spring training lol. Money or no money, making the playoffs from '96-'07 is impressive to say the least. Not to put in play the 10 straight division titles or 4 World Series.

Tuesday, February 19, 2008 - 23:37 GMT im not putting them down and i agreed that torre was/is great...i was just saying that the yankees used more money then. a lot of teams as of late are spending serious cash. the yankees organization is the most dominant club of all time.

Wednesday, February 20, 2008 - 04:11 GMT Yankees will be lucky if they sneak in as the wildcard IMO. Detroit is gonna be nasty, but I think the road to the WS in the AL still goes through Boston.

Wednesday, February 20, 2008 - 05:41 GMT I agree with Pit bull..all the way around..But a repeat is improbable... I think Eric Wedge and the Indians may shock everybody... But No matter what, I love watching Beckett, Papelbon and the kid Ellsberry...and I got my spring training tickets for next month in Fort Myers...and also bought 4 season tickets for all the preseason games for The Rays beginning in 2009 in Port Charlotte (their new preseason site)..The Rays may not be great, but win or lose, baseball is still baseball...and can still see the Sox and Yanks play against TB,,,and also still shoot over to to City of Palms park in FM and watch the Sox too....Life is good....and as long as the Yanks lose to anybody, I'm happy...LOL

Wednesday, February 20, 2008 - 06:11 GMT Red Sox, Tigers and Mariners win their divisions, Indians make the WC. Mets, Cubs and D-Backs win their divisions, Padres make the WC. Red Sox win it all, we'll say they beat the Cubbies just for fun Yankees go 13-149 missing the playoffs. A-Rod bats .043 with 1,312 strikeouts and 416 broken bats.

Sunday, February 24, 2008 - 16:49 GMT If the A-rod has 1312 strikeouts then that means that the rest of the Yankee line-up had close to that many at bats which mean each person would have doubled the at bats they had last year which means we must have had a bunch of hits which means we must have had a bunch of runs which means we must have had a bunch of wins which means we would have won the division.

Thursday, March 06, 2008 - 16:04 GMT Seen 3 Red Sox games so far and 3 more today and the next 2 days, and City of Palms park (FT Myers) rocks!....85 , sunny and great baseball...but $6.25 beers, and $100 daily for just beer and a dog goes quick, but its worth it for the sun and fun... The Sox haven't missed a beat, and look very promising again...hell even JD Drew is hittng...lol.....with their pitching, and total offensive lineup (Manny, Lowell, Casey, Cash are crushing the ball already), I don't see how they can't win the AL EAST..Dice K, and Lester are looking real good already..its early but there's not a weak link anyplace... BTW...Pittsburg got to have the ugliest uniforms in baseball..time they change..

Thursday, March 06, 2008 - 22:42 GMT Basketball and Hockey give me that same feeling,,,,wake me up in playoff time...hell all teams make it... But Baseball and Football keep my attention all season..less contendors in the playoffs which make the regular season more worthy and appealing..
