After this week all teams will be sorted first by record and secondly by the amount of points they scored. The 1-0 team with the most points will be in first and it will go down from there. Sh!tty thing is, you could score 200 points, but if your squad loses then you can still be behind a team who scored like 80 and won, haha. |

Post Number: 1836 Registered: Oct-06 | If you haven't heard about Kevin Everett of the Buffalo Bills yet, please read the story, and say a prayer for him. He suffered what is being referred to by doctors as a "catastrophic" spinal cord injury while making a tackle during sunday's Broncos vs. Bills game, and the doctors are saying some level of paralysis is almost inevitable and he still may not even survive. I'm a gigantic sports fan, and this kinda thing really makes me think about how much joy watching these guys really brings me. I look forward to games weeks in advance, and the season months in advance and I think sometimes we forget how much these guys are really putting on the line to compete for us. Puts into perspective what really matters most in life, his family and friends may lose a loved one, or may have to watch him eat through tubes the rest of his life, who knows, but playing football seems pretty un-important to them right now, i can guarantee you that. Just remember for every unappreciative, overpaid, arogant professional athlete, there are dozens of guys who just want to make their families proud, and pursue their greatest passions and dreams in life. Better defense to hold Palmer/Johnson back, and keep Brady/Welker on the field for more scoring opportunities. |

But you never know, Peterson's injury is the type that could worsen at any time and if it tears any more he is done for the season and Crayton is a big-play receiver (I should know, I drafted him then gave up on him just before his hot streak ) and T.O. will be getting double and even triple coverage the rest of the season after last weeks display. |

But i think the fact that he scored above his projections so much shows really good adjustment skills not luck. He had lotsa injuries too, and made good adjustments to hang in there. Conversely i may have had the best or one of the best Drafts (adrian peterson, tom brady, rothlesberger, M.J.Drew, Wes Welker...) but cause it was my first time playing fantasy football, i didn't make good starts/sits and trades/moves. |
