Silver Member Username: Mrskullz1Brooklyn, New York Post Number: 294 Registered: Feb-07 | yes..that is my first attempt actually and on the drift too how can you do such a long burnout on a stick shift? lol can some1 clear that up for me? |
Platinum Member Username: Project6Post Number: 13856 Registered: Dec-03 | One of the things you can do is make sure that the drive wheels are on a wet surface. If it is front wheel drive, you engage the parking brake. But, most long burnouts are on slick tires at the track and some vehicles have independent brake controls. |

Silver Member Username: Mrskullz1Brooklyn, New York Post Number: 295 Registered: Feb-07 | ok if i put the ebrake wont i have to continually rev the engine up? how high up should i rev it? and also what happens wit the clutch? it says up or going up and down? |
Gold Member Username: BernymacCambodian Post Number: 2553 Registered: Sep-04 | balance the clutch and the gas so that way you don't stall. ebrake up, and when you want to take off just let the ebrake go. And you really shouldn't attempt anymore "drifts" in your front wheel drive. |

Massage the clutch and throttle until the tires break loose, then ignore the clutch(unless you want to replace it soon). Keep on the gas, just enough to keep the rubber turning, always watch the tach, as you ain't goin' nowhere anyhow. |

Platinum Member Username: Project6Post Number: 13858 Registered: Dec-03 | That was not even a semi-drift...that was just a fun skid... |
Gold Member Username: BernymacCambodian Post Number: 2556 Registered: Sep-04 | I went sideways in my Yukon once, and it lasted for quite a few seconds. I was going a little over 40 and was getting on the freeway, those 0 on ramps going downwards and my Yukon got on its side and when I was exiting my car was still on its side, then I lost control, spun out and slammed on my brakes. Freeway behind me was closed off so I wasn't worried . Just do some power slides, those are fun :D. |
