Gas prices vs hostages Rumor?

But i heard that the gas prices went up again because of some hostages the US has? Is that hostage's or terrorists? It has to be a load of BS in my thought for the fact that, if our government is over there trying to help them then why hold some civilians hostage, and if they were terrorists, why would there country give a fu<k...? Somthing is off here and i think it all goes down to our government trying to run the damn world..... no offense to anyone, except maybe George Bush..and his influencing people... america is good but the government system is COMPLETELY fu<ked |

I've read that there are oil fields in Texas and the like that are untapped because we as a nation have a contract for overseas oil. Look at the Alaskan pipeline, built by us, for the benifit of someone else. All that oil put on tankers. It's a business. Supply and demand. When prices drop, refineries reduce production to bump the supply back down sending the $$ back up again. The only power consumers have is to find alternative energy. Ever wonder why oil companies buy up the patents of cutting edge solar/wind generated energy? To keep you sucking on the petroleum t!t. It's as bad as the casinos. Once you find a way to beat the house, you're singled out and removed from the equation. I always say within 20 years there will be a solar panel on every roof. Funny how one the largest oil companies (BP) is also one of the largest solar panel manufacturers. And at $700/panel, they have their bases covered. Find a cheaper way of producing silicon and you my friend are the next Bill Gates. |
