LOL, I didn't know what on earth to call this thread, so there it is.

Well I placed the blue 24" neon tube inside at angle and was disappointed with the illumination from the three ports. I guess it was the angle of the neon tube I was hoping for a bright even colour from each port. Oh well trail and error I guess some type of refection of the light inside the enclosure is needed or several small neon tube.

Don't they do circular car neon tubes? That would work when placed near to the ports.

Anyway since I've read Paul's sub bass baby thread of doom! Where I did find neon light an inspiring idea I've had to remove the neon tube and place it back underneath the TV monitor.

Well I must say you had luck on your side with placement of the blue neon light, damn.

You could try painting the inside white...might take too much work though.

The inside is dampened right? Sux. Yeah the white paint would help tons, just not with the damping.

Yours is looks way much nicer on the uniformity of the colour lighting the interior of the sub up.

Thanks. I'm going to need time for planning my next one! I'm thinking late summer/early fall.

That powering 1 of these?

http://www.tcsounds.com/lms5400.htm

It's more an SQ driver... I'm sure you've seen it before.

You'd have to run it with a channel on each VC (so 2 amps) for 10kw or settle for 2.5kw.

Just an option... http://www.tcsounds.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=577&st=0&gopid=4850&#entry485 0

If it were me, and it's not, on a sub that beefy I would have to bolt it to the box. Screws just wouldn't cut it for me.

With that sub...I'm sure you could use dual 18inch PRs (recommended because the port size needed to not chuff with this driver is HUGE!) and tune it to maybe 10hz to get (calculating...let's see) around 120dB output at 10hz...and do that with LMS technology. RUUUMBLE.
