It is to show that you do not need to be a professional driver to take the machine to its limits. But then again a lot of these car magazine editors are already familiar with going fast. |

I read somewhere they're working on that some time ago. Let me redo that slightly: If they just went crazy with money and listened to me, I'd say build a gigantic electromagnetic field (not track, as I didn't mean). Then make the car as well and make everything run with a series of fully charged neodymium magnets and unlimited power to the electromagnets. I'm sure if you did it just right you'd be able to accellerate a gigantic cube of lead to mach 3 or 4 almost instantly. Again, that would take immense magnet strength and control. |

If you did mean that it wouldn't be possible to accellerate that fast, then ok. Otherwise, a Neodymium shell would be just fine. Maybe a gigantic cube of Neodymium? I'm just not sure how it weighs compared to lead. Why am I even thinking about this? |

I'm sure they had to cut some corners with that car away from the more exotic materials etc.. |
