Thursday, January 11, 2007 - 22:41 GMT This is developing into an old farts thread... Haha, JP. I have always loved classic rock. And I am 18. So many kids my age don't have any clue about the classics. I like Kansas, The Beatles, The Stones, Zepplin, on and on and on. Way better than 90% of the crap that comes out nowadays! The only problem is that classic rocks stations usually just play the same songs over and over again. SO you end up hearing them too much!

Thursday, January 11, 2007 - 23:43 GMT Hey they made of fun of Dennis DeYoung in "Family Guy"...about how he's got such a high pitched voice! That was funny! Sorry CVC..I'm a fan too, but that was funny. He does have a high pitched girly voice when he speaks normally.

Friday, January 12, 2007 - 00:14 GMT Yeah I like all classic rock, and yeah you've named a lot of 'em. Who says there's an age limit on who likes it? Here in the 8th grade a whole lot of us like classic rock. Of course, I'm probably the only person who's even listened to classical music and liked it in my grade, though it's not my favorite. Of course, I tend to like a lot of music thrown my way as long as it's not too slow. We're playing this song called Fire Dance in band, it's pretty cool. I'd say more, but why would I?

Friday, January 12, 2007 - 15:21 GMT Chad, although The Wall is a great album. Have you listened to their older stuff? Say like "Meddle"? Andre, try "Orion" an instrumental track #7 on Master of puppets. Great stuff! Rush, Yes, Dokken, Pantera (lol yep good stuff even though it makes you wanna kick the sh(t out of someone), Jethro Tull, Cream

Friday, January 12, 2007 - 15:39 GMT metallica the greatest band ever?? NOT EVEN CLOSE...i hope you were kidding chad...don't get me wrong i do like metallica but their music over the years hasn't shown a ton of versatility, pretty much a whole lotta heavy tracks that only use 2 or 3 chords.

Friday, January 12, 2007 - 20:26 GMT wow this thread took off well, you guys are forgetting some blue oyster cult, aerosmith, alice cooper, G N'Roses, allman bros, quote: classic or modern, metallica has to be the greatest band ever.
the only thing good they had was there early stuff, they were a beast back then...but dont even get me started on the newest one.
