Silver Member Username: Mr_keboAlbertville, Al USA Post Number: 884 Registered: Nov-04 | lol I wanna keep it below the window 2 AT THE MOST. Looking at the t40001 amp from rockford to power the 2 if i go that route. What size box would you suggest for 2 18" BTL's? tuning? port area? cu ft? |
Silver Member Username: Mr_keboAlbertville, Al USA Post Number: 885 Registered: Nov-04 | also what would do if with 2 15" BTL in the explorer? |
Gold Member Username: BestmankindFi AudioBTL Post Number: 8411 Registered: Oct-05 | i put it in a 10 sq ft box. subs up and port to the rear. 150 sq inches of port. resin the whole inside and round all corners. also i'd put that t40001 to each sub. |

Taking up all the cargo area in the explorer i would need an expedition to go bigger really. |
Silver Member Username: Mr_keboAlbertville, Al USA Post Number: 888 Registered: Nov-04 | 44.5 is about max what you can do wide 18tall is even with the seats, you can go higher, at this height, when you look in from the outside, you can look al thw way across and it looks like a cover 34.5deep this is the box hitting the bac seat, and it goes to the other end and sits inside the cargo area(get what i mean?) thats 13.5 cubes i have to work with. so 2 15" it is |
