Friday, December 01, 2006 - 02:10 GMT HDMI/DVI or Component Video for HDTV's????? i did some research and i have a pretty good answer, it kinda reminds me of some car audio.....it all depends on your application. i actually found the article on this website, go figure. lol

Friday, December 01, 2006 - 02:16 GMT Not until the dust settles. Too many formats and no standard. Friggin' HDMI is not even standardized yet. They already have different versions.

Friday, December 01, 2006 - 02:44 GMT well, i have found by extensive testing that Component video looks better(coming from my HDcable receiver on my HDTV than does the HDMI cable. but on my DVD player, it will only put out the 720p/1080i resolution in the HDMI output jack....
