I have just finished listening to my second copy of this Steely Dan DVD-A disc after returning the first to Tower. Why? Because of this horrible digital distortion/tracking errors that are occuring when I play it on my Pioneer 578A. Is anyone else having the same problem or am I just going crazy? I can't believe that Fagen and Becker would let these pops and blips appear on the original recording, so it must be an incompatibility issue with my player.
Two Against Nature is a sensational DVD-A. Beautiful clean open sound, great use of surround and absolutely no flaws when played on our Denon DVD-2900. You are right : Fagan and Becker would not allow anything but superb reproduction.
