I tuned in this morning to 'Red Planet Mars'. 1952 semi-classic starring Peter Graves, brother of James Arness. Story of what happens when radio broadcasts apparently from Mars are received. Great stuff.

Charming and sad in turns, it's full of enjoyable Back to the Future references too. It feels a bit half-finished though, but I still enjoyed it.

And recently I came across an online site where I read an interesting essay about this story. This is a really interesting piece of literature that is worthy of shooting more than one film. I have watched only one film about it and I hope to see others offered on the internet soon.
