guide to Jtag 2500a : First make or buy yourself a cable from satshack.com like I did. My Pansat is a real one I believe from jan 2005 but it has a plug where the Jtag connections are making the satshack cable perfect. Anyway get the cable and connect to board and pc. 1. turn on box 2. open skymax_up 1.3 3.select adr flash amount -2500a 1MB 4. Click the start connection 5. After it`s seen your unit click erase 6. after erase is a succsess click write 7. select whichever chip set bin you have 29 or 39 8. click ok to write full bin(should start counting off weird alpha numeric combos between write and read buttons. 9.if write is a succsess(see below in veiw plain)then exit skymax 10.turn pansat off in back(you should have night rider lights now) 11. remove jtag cable and plug in your 232 serial cable 12. open BList updater1.3a 13.select boot -select boot bin 60 14.turn pansat on and click fix 15.after boot burns complete -shut off again 16.select bin this time and get 224.bin original pansat 17.repeat burn as above only in bin mode 18.turn off and repeat with BL`s 254.binN2 fix and your ready to go add channel list. You maybe able to skip the entire 10-17 steps but I don`t know -look I messed with the jkeys program and the wall and neither one found anything and the many key imput directions meant nothing to me-the skymax with the the steps I went thru worked great to retrieve my power and nightrider lights which is exactly what you need to float again. This Process may also work for your clone or megasat and maybe more-I don`t know who wrote the 29 and 39 bins but they definately work with the skymax. I guess I`m a TV`er but I`m back up and others may also have some confusion from the wall.exe and jkeys.exe as well as the info or directions that left me bewildered. Goodluck and I hope someone gets some use from this. If 254.bin doesn`t get anything on your channel list do a blind search and see what it retrieves. Also my magasat plus is running off 254.bin for 35hours with no problems so the clone killer probably isn`t in it. Goodluck:)
