Have had this set for a year or so now and overall have been pleased. I have basic (not digital) cable and so really haven't taken advantage of the HD capabilities. This set has an integrated HD tuner and I should be able to get HD signals over the air. I was initially told by my salesman that the tuner would also work with satellite signals - I've since learned enough that I'm pretty sure that's false.
I have also been told that it is possible that the tuner WILL work with cable signal - depending on the format the cable co uses. Not sure if that's true - but obviously I'm hoping it is. I haven't had much luck talking with my cable co (Cox). Any idea if this is true - or where to look to find out for sure?
