We will know by 9 pm est on Nov 6 if Obama is on the way out or not. We will have a pretty good idea by 9 pm what is happening in Virginia and Ohio / will know by then at the verey least how Obama and Romney are doing in very important counties in Ohio... polls in Ohio close at 7:30
Mr Obama is MOVING ON DOWN...but dont celebrate too much, word is he will be immediately be campaigning for top job as head of the UN
Obama will win, 332 to 206. My total includes Obama winning Florida. I can see that as a possible weak spot but, even without Florida, Obama's total will still be north of 300 electoral votes - a very safe margin above the 270 needed.
Your numbers maybe right only the name is wrong here is the map of the national estimate polls say as today November 5, 2012 as of 8:54 AM
Total number of Electoral College votes: 538 Total needed to win: 270 you are saying that before the votes are counted NObama wins by 332 so based on the map
NObama 237 Mitt Romney 206 = 443 NObama is ahead by 31 electoral votes so you are saying that NObama will win all the remaining 95 electoral votes Well every one is entitled to their own opinion here is my opinion......Mitt Romney the next President of the United States of America the land of the free
This election may end up going with the tally of all the absentee votes. Because it's such a close race it has the potential to stretch over days. We may NOT know tonight. As I see on CNN right now Romney has 82 electoral votes to Obama's 64. A big state like FLA or OH will make the swing. Too early yet.
Either way we're fucked so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Just saying.
over 75% of registered voters in most all states, did vote..hardley the number of unemployed or minorities in the US...so wrong again Xerus....U sound like loser Romney and his 47% speech and badmouthing Americans..
It is what it is. There has been far too much bickering over it on the net.
The voting America has spoken and the usual suspects in Washington don't like it. Why? Because the polls have begun flipping. The minority has begun becoming the majority and visa versa.
Other such topics which are creating heated debates are things like g@y marriage (unions) and maryjane legalization. Our country is changing. Call it from social progress or lack of enforcement of illegal immigration, ect.
We still have MANY problems to fix and one can only shake their head at the billions spent just on this election.
All we can do is hope for the best and move forward with the decision made by the majority.
The majority of White Americans are not racists, they have chosen the man they think will do a better job for the American people and not the color of his skin. Father time will tell us if they had made the right choice.
Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin is the first openly g@y candidate to be elected to the U.S. Senate.
Evil is all around us in today's society, including the Senate and Congress from lying and stealing to pornogrephy, drugs, illicit sex, and violence. God calls us to be holy people set apart, not influenced by our wicked culture. Sin always has consequences.
Daniel Solomon, 36, was in critical condition at a local hospital, but is expected to survive, Gilbert police spokesman Sergeant Jesse Sanger said.
Police said Daniel Solomon told them his wife became angry over his "lack of voter participation" in last Tuesday's presidential election and believed her family would face hardship as a result of Obama winning another term.
PHOENIX " An Arizona woman, in despair at the re-election of Democratic President Barack Obama, ran down her husband with the family car in suburban Phoenix on Saturday because he failed to vote in the election, police said on Monday.
Holly Solomon, 28, was arrested after running over husband Daniel Solomon following a wild chase that left him pinned underneath the vehicle."
Nydas you are a curious fellow, you seemed in agreement with some here, including yours truly on some serious issues, then seemed to be celebrating Barry's re election??
Nydas....Sodom and Gomorrah...those would be your Mass, NY,California, Road Island, New England States etc etc..and do not forget Barry's home base of Illinois + many more States
Basically to keep it simple for you, the Sodom and Gomorrah areas are wherever they voted most for Barry
It's a terrible thing that happened on Nov 6th 2012, will go down in history as a key moment. Mind you elections that brought in Obama first term as well as terms by Clinton and Carter are equally as bad.
AMERICA CELEBRATES ABORTION, HOMOSEXUALITY, AND ANTI CHRISTIAN VALUES
It is always interesting to hear the minority party's point of view. Actually if ALL Americans had to vote on "ABORTION" only, I think the anti-abotion camp will win, and I will be overjoyed. If ALL Americans had to vote on "HOMOSEXUALITY" only, I think the hetero camp will win, and I will be overjoyed. I don't want to comment on "ANTI CHRISTIAN VALUES" as I do not wish to bring religion into the equation, except to say that America is considered a secular state.
However, you have to recognize that "DEMOCRACY" was the winner on 6th November, 2012 and also in 2008, and I applaud that, because ALL Americans had the chance to vote in the election.
Thousands protested in Ireland and parents cried out in India after a miscarrying woman died having been refused an abortion. The laws have to change, Irish physicians say.
A woman has a choice how to protect herself from getting pregnant, but not a choice to kill.
The problem is the West is that the "women's rights" lobby is extremely strong, and the "pro life lobby" is weak in comparison.
In a somewhat different context this was argued in India where "pro life" would mean not killing living beings, a minister about to take office was asked how he would treat the fishing industry. His simple reply was that he would have to shelve his personal views about killing in favour of the people whose livelihood depends upon going out fishing. Leaders have to make these unpleasant choices in doing what is good for the country. What the "women's rights" group have not realized is the fact of dwindling population of the kind they would like to see around them because of the massive abortions taking place all over the country. It is decimating the population, and putting an extremely heavy burden on the new generation's ability to care for the old.
No such thing as safe abortion, a woman can still die from complications
In India abortion is legally available during the first 20 weeks of pregnancy in a variety of cases: when there is risk to the mother's life, physical or mental health; r@pe or fetal abnormality; as well as social or economic reasons.
Despite a relatively liberal legal framework, provision of abortion services within the public health system remains low, estimated at only 72,3142 per year in 2000. However, the Consortium on National Consensus for Medical Abortion in India estimates that the real number of abortions that take place annually is 11 million. Of that, it is estimated that approximately 20,000 women die every year due to abortion related complications.
Uttar Pradesh, a state that consistently has amongst the poorest indicators on women's health in the country. In 1997, there were an estimated 707 maternal deaths per 100,000 live births (Sample Registration System, 1998), almost eight times that in Kerala and 70 percent higher than the national average. Every year, there are 40,000 maternal mortality deaths and 10,000 women in the state die as a result of unsafe abortions.
You have struck the right balance. If the women want to have abortions, that means if they want to kill their own unborn child, they have to realize that the act may kill themselves and the child.
After all, it is their Karma coming to fruition immediately. That's all it is.
