This morning my TV sparked real big in the back, and then the TV died! I called the company (Viore is the brand) and found out that my 1 year warranty expired less than a month ago....
The tech I spoke to at Viore said it's most likely the power supply, and to open the back and check to see if there is anything obviously blown. Well the only thing that looks different to me is in the picture I posted below. I'm not sure what type of component it is, other than it's not a capacitor. But there is green stuff coming out of it, and i'm sure that isn't normal!
But I was hoping to get the opinion of someone who is more knowledgeable than I am with this type of stuff before I spend the money to buy a new power supply/
