So I just got back to college and brought my 1080p LG tv which I love, only to find out it would not power on at all. (Not even a power indicator when pluuged into the wall)
I tried the basic troubleshooting steps that I could think of: using a different power chord, using a different wall socket, using the power button on the tv rather than the remote. Still nothing.
I did a little research to find out many times, the capacitors will 'blow' or go out on some LCD tv's. I opened up my tv to find all of my capacitors to be in excellent condition, at least I think (looked clean, no bulging at all.)
Could anyone give me any other possible reasons it would not turn on at all? I would like to fix this tv myself, as I enjoy doing electronic work, as well as would like to save a couple of bucks.
