hi there. i just bought a THOMSON VPH-6790 vcr at a car boot sale. it seems to work ok, but there is no user manual. what i want to do is connect my video camera to the arial input on the VPH-6790 and record it to vc. the problem is i dont know how the tune the video machine to the correct frequency for the camera. can anyone help, or maybe link to the user's guide?

many thanks!

You can't do what you are wanting to do.

Give me the model of your video camera.

The aerial input of a VCR is for TV signals.
Your video camera does not output TV signals.

its a phillips v100 camera that has a rf signal output on an arial socket. i have used the camera with my tv monitor [via arial in] but had to tune the channel frequency manually on the tv to get the picture. i wanted to use the thomson vcr to record the video camera. does this make sense? i need to be able to tune the thomson vcr to the correct frequency like i did on my tv, but without the user guide i cant work out how to do this. many thanks

whichever TV channel you tuned to on your TV would also be the same channel to use on the VCR

if there is a channel up/down button the VCR, I would keep pressing it and hope you hit upon the channel
