I have a 1995 Mitsubishi Television Model CV-20125 , I don't have an output connection on the TV, only and Input. So, I disconnected the speaker wire inside the set, and led it out the back of the TV. I then connected it to a Set of external Speakers, from a Surround sound coming from a Stereo Receiver.I also have cable Television, when i was watching TV, and listening to the stereo at the same time, i decided to mute the TV, and only listen to the Stereo. After I un muted the TV, There was no sound. The Video was working, and there were no power surges. I also Disconnected the cable from the converter box, and plug it directly into the TV, I still Have Video, but no Audio. The Cable Company refreshed the converter box, and nothing happened.
Can you HELP

There's a possibility that you blew the audio circuit on the TV. if the surround sound speakers and the tv speakers were different ohms, it may not have the right resistance and overheated the Audio IC.
