So I am having a similar problem to the majority of the post here https://www.ecoustics.com/electronics/forum/home-video/590118.html and I figured I would create a new thread .. I just bought a tv that wouldn't power on. I took it apart, took out the power supply board, and fixed the solder for the power port. When I put it back together and plugged it in the only thing that lights up is the vizio logo. It skips orange entirely and just goes straight to white. Everything is non-responsive and that light stays on until it is unplugged. I checked my soldering and redid it, same result. I do have an ohm meter, but I have no experience using one. It is time to learn. I can post pictures of anything that might help ya'll tell me what to test. I fix computers all day, but have no idea how to diagnose a bad cap if its not split or bloated. There are no burn marks at all ... By the way the model number is VA26LHDTV10T.
