You need an additional dish for 129, unless you have elliptical dish. 129 is for HD channels, only if you have a HD receiver then you should bother about it. Your dish has a coverage now of 110 to 119 i.e. of 9 deg apart. to get a cover of 110-129 you are expecting efficiency at 19 degree separation. That is almost possible, but tricky. As Subash suggested, it is best to add a secode dish for 129 or buy a larger proper Elliptical dish with brackets designed for the three LNBs of your choice. |

I only gave comarisons between Pansat 2700 and CW 800S, neither of which are any good for HD. 2. Sonicview HD 8000 will get HD, if you point to the right sat and set up for it and have Private IKS. I don not know if there is active IKS for SV 8000. 3. CaptiveWorks 8000HD will get HD channels and there are some on NFPS. Myself, nydas, Plymouth and a few others do not want or need to make any money from satellite service, only motivation is to provide technical help to testers. However there are other like LK, G2, Luke, Chaff and other so called fun bunch characters, who have vested financial interest and are frustrated that they do not have constant money coming to them like the N2 days. During N2 days they would claim they would do programming and would charge anywhere from $5 to $20 just for loading new bins that would be released quite often after an ECM. LK also would direct people to sites that would charge money for files that are available free elsewhere. Few days back I was helping an elderly gentleman buy a LNB and in the store the owner was offering a customer buying a nanosat IKS receiver that he would program it for $20 extra and the customer paid for programming as well. Get the picture of where they are coming from. I and nydas have been attacked and acused of making money and just to defend when I posted I have good income as a professional and that my wife is a physician, there have been all kinds of attacks on me from the same characters. However many people with good technical knowledge do not want to post because of these attacks and stay away. I do not agree with your statement "Because if you're innocent, there's no need to feel the need to defend anothers lies", just ask John Kerry, if he had to do it all over again whether he would defend or ignore swift boat lies. |

Your best bet is to be a regular reader at those sites I mentioned above, and if you are keen TV aficionado, you are likely to end up with two or three receivers and services.
