Samsung dlp hl-p5063wx has vertical lines

My hl-p 5063wx has developed 10 columns of 8 vertical lines that shows no matter what input is being used. The tv is still watchable...annoyingly so but still watchable. Can i expect this to get worse and does anyone have an idea why this happened?
