The scan yielded 135 channels with about 30 of them HD/Digital. Since my DirectTV contract expires 9/1/11, I was going to cancel and use the cable channels my TV found. I am trying to figure out if adding a DVR is possible. I was researching and most articles said you needed to get a Cablecard from your cable company in order to use Tivo or something similar. Since I am not officially with a cable company and just receive the channels, is this possible to add a DVR and how would I do it? Thank you. |
